Amy is our founder and lead grant strategist, bringing over 20 years of experience in grant writing, strategic planning, and funding alignment. She leads our team in bringing the vision and mission of Bolek Grant Writing to life, working to maintain trust-based relations with clients and the communities we serve.
When Amy’s not leading our team – she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, attending concerts, gardening, and relaxing at home. You might find her traveling up to her happy place – the Les Cheneaux Islands in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.Â
Shannon
Grant Writer & Strategist
Shannon is a grant writer and strategist with Bolek Grant Writing. She helps clients turn complex ideas into clear, compelling proposals. With a background in healthcare, non-profits, organizational strategy, and communications, she supports mission-driven teams advancing health equity, community development, and systems change.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exploring new places, hiking, and traveling. She also loves reading, crocheting, and getting outdoors with the family dog, Lily. Whether through creative projects or meaningful conversations, she’s always drawn to big ideas and the connections that bring them to life.
Megan
Strategic Support AssociateÂ
Megan brings valued nonprofit sector experience to the Bolek team. She has been serving nonprofits for the past 14 years. Her experience began with grant work in 2011, and since has evolved to serving nonprofits and ministries all over the world. From helping with donor retention and stewardship, to editing grant proposals and organizational content, to leading fundraising efforts, Megan enjoys all things nonprofit.
When Megan is not serving nonprofits, she loves spending time with her husband and four children, reading, journaling and listening to praise and worship music.
